Although Doves d’Amour has only been in the dove release business since November 2001, the partnership of Steve Preedy and Sharon House have extensive knowledge and experience not only in white doves but also with a variety of birds in general.

Steve Preedy

Son of Ron Preedy who kept and raced pigeons for over 40 years. Although learning a great deal about handling and training pigeons Steve did not become the next generation of Pigeon Racer. Steve did become a very successful Budgerigar breeder and exhibitor.

Sharon House

A keeper of most things animal Sharon has been involved in birds since early childhood. Former breeder of exhibition budgerigars for 18 years and a more than average knowledge of genetics in Psittacine species and has been lucky enough to have photos of her budgies included in a publication entitled “A Guide to Colour Mutations And Genetics In Parrots” by Dr Terry Martin.

Both partners bring a wealth of avian knowledge to the business on the keeping, breeding and raising of these wonderful birds. This knowledge is invaluable to provide you with the very best of healthy and happy white doves for your special occasion.
